It’s not easy to write consistently everyday. I can plan and set aside time just for writing, but it seems like there’s always something to interfere. It might be that the dogs want to be let outside, kids need to be picked up, text messages need answering, or laundry needing to be switched.
Whatever the reason, it pulls my mind from creating. And I need to create. I need to get these stories out of my head because if I don’t, scenes will replay over and over and over in my mind like that Groundhogs Day movie…you know the one.
So, I’m fighting through the distractions and the to do lists and I’m writing.
Even when the right words don’t want to come out just right, I’m writing.
